LISBON  AVENUE

LIsbon Avenue at 94th Street.   I grew up out here.   It gets me to thinking about cherry cokes at Lisbon Court Drug Store,  Milwaukee Braves games at County Stadium,  playing catch with my dad, riding the streetcar with my mom to visit Grandma Nimmer,  swimming at Hoyt Pool,  riding our bikes, picnics, backyard barbeques, playing board games, sitting on the garage roof with my buddies and eating plums and pears off the trees, shooting buckets in the driveway, the magic of Christmas.   But I digress.
